Lifetime Colton resident, Bruce Engle died in Oregon City on August 15, 2019. He was 76. A celebration of his life will be held 2:00 PM, Saturday, September 7, 2019 near Estacada. Bruce Edward Engle was born October 28, 1942 in Portland to Edward and Norma (Rowan) Engle. He was raised in Colton where he graduated from Colton High School in 1960. After high school he worked for Napa Auto for a few years before purchasing his own Napa Auto in Silverton and Molalla until 1987. He then owned and operated Bruce Engle and Sons Logging. In 1976 Bruce married Kim Ellis and they continued to live in Colton. He enjoyed the outdoors including; hunting, fishing, working on cars. He was known for being a hard worker. Survivors include his wife, Kim; daughters Kelly (Carl) Stephens, Jill (Richard) Durr; sons, Kevin (Jackie) Engle, Josh (Misty) Engle, Jarred (Alyssa) Engle; brother, Sheldon Engle; 12 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
