Dan Lee Swanson

Lifetime Estacada resident, Dan Swanson, died on Tuesday, March 7, 2023. He was 88 years old. A celebration of his life will be held 1:00 PM, Sunday, March 12, 2023 at Estacada Funeral Chapel. Inurnment will follow at Springwater Cemetery. Dan Lee Swanson was born May 26, 1934 in Estacada, Oregon to Andrew and Beulah (Rhodes) Swanson. He lived in Estacada where he graduated from high school. He worked for a short time in the lumber industry and after graduation he started with PGE. He retired from there in 19?? He married Frances Buck. They had three children. After they divorced, he married Ida Dea Wolfe. After they divorced, he marred Lenita “Bunny” Swanson they were married until her death in 2012. His greatest passion and joy in life was restoring old cars. Survivors include his daughters, Connie Hovda, Kay Wadkins; step children Kim Paluck, Kelly Waldien, Larry Wyatt, Patti Wyatt; granddaughter, Danna Pedro; great grandchildren Mariah, Hunter and Devin Pedro. He was preceded in death by his daughter Carol Swanson and wife Bunny Swanson.
