Longtime Estacada resident, Jerry Erickson, died suddenly at his home on
Saturday, March 16, 2024. He was 67 years old.
Private family services will be held.
Gerald Dean Erickson was born January 23, 1957 in Orofino, Idaho to Donald and Shirley (Hayes) Erickson. At age 12, his family moved to Estacada where he graduated from high school. While in high school, Jerry worked at Milo McIver State Park and continued working there after high school. On May 10, 1979 he married Ann Emery in Utah. He later went to work for Asplundh and worked there until his retirement on December 15, 2015.
He enjoyed drawing, dirt bikes and working on his truck. He also enjoyed babysitting the family pets when they were out of town.
Survivors include his mother, Shirley Erickson; son, Joshua Erickson; daughters, Genie (Jacob) Rose; Hailey Erickson; sisters, Linda Panus, Laurie Brewster, brothers, James Erickson, Joseph Erickson; grandchildren, Austin Rose, Zoey
Erickson and wife, Ann Erickson.
