Jarod Gallagher, born on October 26, 2000, in Portland, Oregon, passed away on July 10, 2023, in Brightwood, Oregon. He lived a life filled with passion and dedication.
Throughout his working career, Jarod always had a strong affinity for working with his hands. His love for mechanics and welding shone through his work. He worked tirelessly for Herford's Tree Care for two years and was quickly climbing the ladder of success, he was the mechanic and everybody’s right hand man. Jarod's commitment to his craft was evident in every project he undertook.
Jarod's schooling journey began at Sandy Head Start, then he attended Sandy High School, where he graduated in 2019. During his time there, he discovered his passion for shop class. It was there that he honed his skills and developed a deep appreciation for craftsmanship.
Those who knew Jarod well can attest to his fully respectful personality. He had a kind heart and treated everyone with kindness and consideration. His genuine nature allowed him to build strong relationships with those around him. 3 years ago, he met his beloved girlfriend Ariel through the help of his next door neighbor, the two had a loving relationship, and Jarod loved Ariel’s son Ender as his own.
Outside of work, Jarod indulged in his hobbies and interests. Working on cars became a form of self-expression for him. The hours spent under the hood brought him both joy and fulfillment. Additionally, Jarod found solace in nature through camping trips that allowed him to unwind and appreciate the beauty of the world.
Survivors include Sheryl Gallagher and Becky Kulp as his loving mothers; Ariel Barlett as his beloved girlfriend, and her son Ender; Marjorie Kulp as his aunt; Justin Peralta Seralta, Mercedes, Cheyanne, Luke, Ross, Garrett as his cherished cousins; Michael Gallagher, Dave & Cheryl Gallagher, and Roy Gallagher as uncles.
In remembrance of Jarod Gallagher's vibrant life filled with hard work, dedication, and kindness, we celebrate the impact he had on those around him. His remarkable journey may have ended too soon, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. May he rest in peace.
