Jimmy Dale Thompson

March 17, 1953 — March 12, 2020

Longtime Irrigon resident, Jimmy Thompson died at a Portland area hospital on March 12, 2020. He was 66.

A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.

Jimmy Dale Thompson was born March 17, 1953 in Ontario, Oregon to Jimey and Tillary (Casebolt) Thompson. He was raised in Ontario, Oregon. On March 30, 1984 he married Vivian Harwell. They made their home in Hazeldale, Oregon, where they raised their family. In 2009 They moved to Irrigon where he lived until his death. For most of his working career, Jimmy worked as an auto mechanic. He retired in 2011.

Jimmy enjoyed going to the Moose Lodge to visit with his friends. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle,fishing at the beach and snowmobiling.

Survivors include his wife, Vivian; son, Tom Thompson; daughters, Tami Thompson, Serprina Johnson; brother, David Thompson; sisters, Linda Rose, Donna St. Cyr.
