JOHN ALBERT THUN was born on February 14, 1954, in Oregon City, Oregon to Anna Marie and Charles Thun.
John was the eldest of four children in the Thun family.
John went to school in Redland for his Elementary years, then Estacada for his high school years and then graduated with the class of 1972. He then went on to take Automotive classes at Clackamas Community College, in Oregon City.
He spent much of his life working with the land and animals. He grew up on a farm, with expectations of working the farm with the family. Through his high school years had special projects for his agriculture classes at school with the support of his parents. He enjoyed and was good at these things with a special knack with the animals. John had a way of approaching animals that responded positively to him, from herd animals to feral cats did not matter. He was gifted in that way.
John is survived by his brother Michael Thun, two nieces, aunts and cousins. He was proceeded in death by his parents, Anna Marie and Charles, his brother Andrew, his sister Connie.
He will be missed by his family who loved him dearly.
