Justin Janssens, born on October 11, 1988, in Portland Oregon, passed away on July 16, 2024.
Justin was a beloved son of Kenny Janssens and Tracey Knapp. Growing up in Sandy, Oregon alongside his father Kenny, Justin had a childhood filled with interests such as junior drag racing, skateboarding, and fishing.
For over 15years, Justin dedicated his time and effort to the field of construction. He was currently employed as a general foreman for Cascade Acoustics. Prior to that he was a journeyman at Fred Shearer and Sons.
In 2013, Justin met the love of his life, Dani Gulseth. Their union blossomed into marriage on December 7, 2016. The greatest joys in Justin's life were his two sons, Wyatt (9) and Walker (8), who held the center of his world along with Dani.
An adventurer by heart, Justin found solace in fishing trips, hunting adventures, and the great outdoors. Golfing was another passion he shared with his family. Actively engaged in the boys’ wrestling activities, Justin not only cheered but also lent his guidance as a coach. Justin will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege to know him. He was a devoted family man and a kind-hearted friend. He loved his career and was a hardworking man. Justin had the most contagious laugh, had a heart of gold, and would drop everything for anyone.
Justin is survived by his father, Kenny Janssens of Sandy; wife, Dani Janssens of Estacada; sons, Wyatt and Walker Janssens of Estacada; Grandma, Aunts, Uncles and cousins. He is also remembered by his Mother and Father-in-law, Sisters-in-law, Brothers-in-law, many family friends, co-workers and friends.
Justin is proceeded by his late mother, Tracey Knapp; grandfather, Martin Janssens; and father-in-law, Larry Gulseth.
A Celebration of Life is planned for Sunday, July 28th from 1pm – 5pm at the Mt. Hood Center: 29450 SE Lariat Ln, Boring, OR 97009. Please dress in summer casual attire.
