A celebration of her life will be held from 4 – 7pm on Friday, September 21, 2018, at The Monarch Hotel in Clackamas.
Kelli DeAnn Monroe was born December 2, 1969, in Albany, Oregon. She was raised in Corvallis until the family moved to Oregon City in 1981. She graduated from Oregon City High School and worked for the Oregon City School District for 14 years in administration.
She then returned to school to become a dispatcher for AMR. Disability forced her to find other pursuits so she started her own company, “Kelli’s Kookies,” homemade dog treats.
After raising two children, her spare time was spent in community activities, including participation in Meals On Wheels.
Eight years ago, she found the love of her life, Jeff Mueller. They enjoyed traveling and died together in the same tragic accident.
Kelli and Jeff loved their two “boys,” a pair of happy go lucky yellow Labrador retrievers who, like their owners, live, laugh and love.
Kelli's survivors include her parents, Glenda and Bill Monroe; daughter, Kayla Grant; son, Tyler Grant; sister, Molly (Jarod Jebousek) Monroe; brother, Bill Monroe Jr; niece, Amelia Jebousek; nephew, Billy and Greyson Monroe and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of close friends in an extended family.
