Marsha Kay Sunderlin

Longtime Sandy resident, Marsha Sunderlin, died at her home on Thursday, April 12, 2018. She was 59.

A celebration of her life will be held 2pm, Saturday, April 28, 2018, at Estacada Funeral Chapel.

Marsha Kay Watson was born May 8, 1958, in Spokane, Washington to her proud and happy parents, Ron and Marlene (Trudgeon) Watson. She weighed a hefty 5lbs 13oz. She attended school in Spokane through her freshman year in high school. The family then moved to the country in Reardon, Washington where she graduated from high school. Marsha then attended George Fox College in Newberg, Oregon for one semester and then traveled with a friend to Hawaii where she stayed for 9 months and then returned to Salem where she met her husband, Rich Sunderlin. They lived in Salem for a while before moving to Bend where Rich worked for his brother at a muffler shop. They had 2 children Kyle on October 20, 1981, and Keri on October 12, 1983. In 1985, they moved to the Portland area where Rich worked as a plumber. In 2004 they moved to Sandy where Marsha started her business as a dog trainer. She worked as a dog trainer until her passing on April 12, 2018.

Marsha is survived by her husband, Rich; son, Kyle and his wife Kimberley; daughter Keri; parents, Ron and Marlene Watson; brothers, Michael, Richard and Steven Watson; grandchildren, Mya, Mika, Morgan and Mason.
