Michael Lee Klose

Longtime Estacada resident, Michael passed away suddenly on Monday July 31, 2023, at the age of 65 due to a major stroke.

His celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Mike was born on April 11,1958 in Eugene, Oregon to Richard and Margery (Alspaugh) Klose.  He was raised in Veneta Oregon and the Eugene area, where he graduated from high school. He enjoyed car and motorcycle racing. For most of his working career Michael was a mechanic. He began driving long haul, until a truck/traffic accident early on, left him partially disabled.  Even so, He was able to restore a 1970 Barracuda and a 1973 Road Runner.

Known as Mikey to his friends. he was an avid car and boat enthusiast who enjoyed restoring these old cars, under the supervision of his devoted dog “Barb”.

He is survived by his sisters & brother, Kaye (Ted) Eurick, Dallas O’Neill, Richard Klose.
Also his nephew, Ted Eurick IV and niece Ravyn M. Eurick.
