Longtime Estacada Resident, Phyllis Wahlstrom, passed away Friday, August 26, in Oregon City. She was 77 years old. A celebration of her life will be held 1pm, Thursday, September 1, 2022 at Clackamas Valley Baptist Church. A private graveside service was held at Springwater Cemetery. Phyllis May Wahlstrom was born April 17, 1945 in Astoria, Oregon to Lawrence and Geraldine (Colson) Wahlstrom. The family moved to Estacada while she was still a baby, where she spent most of her life. She attended Estacada High School, and after a few years moving around, she settled back in Estacada with her parents, where the three of them ran a Ceramics Business together out of their home. Phyllis was an avid member of Clackamas Valley Baptist Church, and spent most of her time in her adult years there, with a big smile on her face. Her faith was very important to her, and you would rarely catch her missing a church event. Phyllis is survived by her sister, Carolyn (Jim) Douglass; and many extended family members. She is preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Geraldine (Colson) Wahlstrom; and sister, Judy Loney. Contributions may made to Clackamas Valley Baptist Church in her name.
