Tom Pierce

Estacada resident, Tom Pierce died on Sunday, October 8, 2023 in Eagle Creek. He was 78 years old.

A celebration of his life will be held 1:00 PM, Sunday November 19, 2023 at Eagle Creek Saloon.

Thomas Gordon Pierce was born June 25, 1945 in Sacramento, California to Clifford Pierce and Coleen Metzler. He was raised mainly in Myrtle Point,
Oregon. After high school he entered into the US Marine Corp. He was honorably discharged and went to the Oregon State University where he received a Bachelor degree in Geography. For most of his working career until his retirement Tom worked as a Hostler/Train Engineer for Southern Pacific Railroad acquired and merged into Union Pacific Railroad.

Tom enjoyed riding his motorcycle, camping, toy trains, animals and hanging out with friends. He had a great love of music and enjoyed listening to live bands.
